Manufactured by Bareiss Prüfgerätebau GmbH Germany, the HPE II-PJ Pusey & Jones durometer is professional digital hardness testing instrument exclusively for vulcanized rubber rollers used in papermaking, printing, textile and coating industries.It follows standard Pusey & Jones testing method: 1000g fixed load with Ø3.175mm spherical indenter, hold 60 seconds to read stable hardness value, depth reading accuracy up to 0.01mm, fully meets ISO 7267-3 and ASTM D531 international testing standards.
Different from common flat-surface durometers, this PJ model adopts adjustable movable support feet, which can fully fit curved cylindrical rubber roller surfaces without tilt. Equipped with built-in balance level window, operators can quickly confirm vertical placement to eliminate measurement deviation caused by skew contact. Integrated standard counterweight ensures uniform pressure during long-time testing, greatly improving data repeatability.
The whole machine adopts high-strength aluminum alloy housing with compact size 250×90×130mm, total weight 3.3kg, equipped with clear LCD digital display. It supports storage of up to 300 sets of test data, with RS232 data output interface for connecting PC to export test records. Built-in reminder sound signal alerts users when testing time is finished, effectively avoiding human operation errors. Powered by long-life lithium battery, continuous working time reaches 2000 hours for workshop continuous inspection.
